The Spicebush Swallowtail (Papilio troilus) is decidedly eastern in distribution, occurring west to the central part of the United States. The first 4 shots on this page were taken at Boykin Springs in the Angelina National Forest in Angelina Co., Texas, in June, 2003, with a Canon EOS 10D and an EF 70-200mm F/2.8 L IS lens and 2X extender.
